“DEI has been contracted by Collins Aerospace for overs 12yrs to complete guarding suites on all aged CNC equipment including PPSR’s plus PPSR’s and safety sign-offs on new equipment.

DEI used their understanding of Ontario Safety and Collins safety requirements to help design safety suites for our CNC equipment that were functional and also meet all safety requirements.

Once the concepts were completed, DEI brought various guarding integrators in to quote the projects, then was very instrumental in the selections process.

DEI would then be the liaison between Collins Aerospace and guarding integrators, setting schedules, monitoring installation, explaining and informing all parties involved what is going to happen and why.

DEI would issue a signed PSR upon completion of installation that would be used as the centrepiece of our safety sign-off process.

We have guarded over 80 pieces of equipment and spent many millions of dollars on safety systems over the years and DEI has been the centrepiece of most of them.
